About Me

My name is Marek Zubrzycki and I’m a professional snooker coach. I started my adventure with several sports disciplines in my early childhood (soccer, archery and basketball among others). That is why the hard work spent on trainings is for me the obvious and right way leading to professional success in sport.

It’s been my discipline for nearly 20 years of professional player career and for 10 years as a coach. Throughout my career I enjoyed many triumphs (most notably I became the Team Champion of Poland in 2002 and Vice Champion of Poland in 2008), winning top places in various tournaments of Polish Open Snooker Ranking. This gave me valuable experience that I am now able to pass onto aspiring adepts of snooker.

As the coach of the Junior National Team I collaborated closely for 4 years with numerous training facilities in Great Britain, where in the school of Therry Griffiths – the World Champion I completed a two-year professional coach training course and passed an exam honored by both the World and the European Federations of Snooker.

Currently I’m the coach of the National Team and the National Team of Juniors. For six months now I’ve been the coach of Marcin Nitschke - the Vice Champion of Europe and multiple Champion of Poland.

It’s important to note that I’m the only coach and trainer in Poland with such credentials.
